Keeping your kids occupied when it is cold or rainy out can be difficult to do. Young children have a lot of energy, and it can sometimes take a great deal of effort to keep them busy. Luckily, Palm Academy is here to help! We not only provide fun and educational preschool in Fremont, CA, but we also want to help you to make the most out of your time with your kids at home. That is why we have come up with this list of fun indoor activities to keep your kids busy when the weather is less than idea for playing outside:

• Bake– Baking with your kids is so much fun to do! It is not only a fun way to keep them busy, but it is an activity that teaches them about math, reading, following directions, and so much more! You will also get to enjoy a tasty treat when you are all done!
• Read– There is nothing better than snuggling up with a good book on a gloomy day, and reading to your kids. The best part about reading is that, when you start at a young age, your child will fall in love with books, and you won’t have to pull teeth to try to get them to read when they are older.
• Music– Regardless of whether you are an accomplished musician or not, you and your child can still have fun making music together. Don’t have an instrument? No problem, you can get creative! Use pots, pans, and wooden spatulas to create your own makeshift drum-set. You could also sing and dance to your child’s favorite tunes.
