You will be glad to know that there are many things you can do to make traveling with your kid easier and less stressful. #3. Be prepared for accidents of all shapes and sizes.

Accidents happen, and high-stress situations, like traveling, can make those accidents seem like the end of the world. Luckily, with a little planning, you can be prepared for all kinds of accidents! Keep extra pull-ups and a spare change of clothes accessible, and make sure that you have plenty of medicine and band-aids available, just in case!

#4. Make the most out of your technology.

One of the biggest challenges of traveling with young children is keeping them occupied. Although too much screen time isn’t good for young children, a bit of screen time is okay, and it is a great way to keep them distracted on an airplane or while you are waiting in the terminal. Download some kid friendly shows and applications, and don’t forget to bring some headphones!

#5. Bring lots of snacks!

Traveling often consists of long periods of time without eating, and while this may be okay for adults, in general, kids are used to eating more often. The good news is that food not only helps to keep your kids happy and satisfied, it also distracts them for a few minutes. Try bringing snacks that take a long time to eat, like raisins. Avoid sugary snacks, as this will just amp up their energy and add to your stress level.
