Tips to Help Your Child Be Successful at School Part 2

No matter how young your child is, it is never too early to develop habits that can help them be successful in school.

If your child is still attending our preschool in Fremont, CA, you may be under the impression that they are too young for you to start thinking about their success in school. However,  it is never too early to start working with your child to form healthy habits that can help with their future success in school. Check out our last blog to learn about a few of the healthy habits we’ve already gone over. Here are a few more:

#4. Make everyday experiences learning opportunities.

Small children are like sponges; they will soak up as much knowledge as possible as long as you give them the opportunities they need. There are so many incredible opportunities to teach your child throughout the day. Make everyday experiences, like cooking dinner and playing, learning experiences.

#5. Show your interest in what your child is learning.

Kids love to share the new things they have learned with those around them, and if you show them that you are interested, he or she will continue to share with you. The more excited you are about what your child is learning, the more excited they will be to keep learning.

#6. Be a role model.

Just because you are grown, it doesn’t mean you should stop learning. Take steps to learn more and further your own knowledge when your kids are around. Whether you are reading a book, watching a documentary or researching on the internet, your love of knowledge will be reflected in your child.
